The Rich Get Richer

I went to the bank today to cash a check written from this particular bank (WACHOVIA). Nearing the end of the transaction, the teller informed me that there would be a $5 charge for cashing a check written out of THEIR bank from one of THEIR customers. The check was written for $50, so I get $45. So now the bank is getting money from me, when they are already getting it from the customer who banks with them? This is all confusing to me, but it just goes to prove, The rich keep getting richer, and I'll just keep on workin'! I'm Out!

Does Anybody Work These Days?

It seems that I can't go anywhere without hearing someone say, "Hey, you got a dollar?" I just want to scream, "GET A JOB!" I don't know about you, but I have to get up every morning, shower and get myself to work. I put in my 40 hours and receive a paycheck every Friday. Sometimes I even do extra work and make a few extra dollars. Why should I have to be subjected to these people leaning up against the side of a building, smoking a cigarette and asking for my hard-earned money? My old bosses wife told me, "People do what they want to do!" That can't be more true, you can find work, you can make money, you DO what you want to do. And I want to go sit on the couch, watch some TV and maybe play a video game or two! I'm out!
