A Tuesday Rant

---Today I will break from posting pictures for a special rant session, enjoy!---



To quote a commercial of mine, "it's spring time and perfect weather for a motorcycle ride!". So I cranked my motorcycle for the first time in a few months and took off to grab some ant killer and some oil.

I stopped at the auto parts store to pick up motorcyle stuff. Then I headed to Food Lion to buy the ant destroyer.

After I found my few items. I went to check out. I find a suitable line. The "Express Lane - 12 items or less". Well much to my surprise, there was a southern immigrant in line with a buggy full of food. A lot more than 12 items. This is a pet peeve of mine, but no big deal. So then she continues to check out and runs through her WIC items. Still no big deal.

Here is the kicker. As I was walking out of the store with my purchase. I walked past this southern immigrant as she was pulling out a wad of cash for no other reason but to purchase several scratch off and lottery tickets!!!

So, I guess my beef is that MY tax dollars are helping her purchase baby food, so she can throw away HER money on the lottery!

Well aint that just peachy.
