Ok - so there are not 654 pictures, but these are pictures of 654.
These are a few selected areas that have been completed and are "photographable" (i just made that up!! I got a red line under the word!)

Paint, Paint...I think we should paint

I hate painting, for the record!
We finally closed on the new house on Monday afternoon and we starting getting things in order for the move. We are moving about 8 miles or so from our current residents, so it's not such a big deal!
The wife got the paint yesterday morning in preparation for Monday evening.
We had a few folks stop by to lend a hand (or a foot!) in the painting process. My goal was to be able to spend the night in the new house.
So, we got started - we had to prime the kitchen, then they started on the Master Bedroom and Bathroom. The wife did a great job on the color combo for these rooms.
These two rooms went fast - we then went back to the kitchen and spent the rest of the night there. I think the kitchen will turn out okay, but it's going to be a long process.

I brought the dogs to the new house yesterday evening and then I "oscar proofed" the back fence and let them free. It's funny to watch them explore a new place. Oscar chased a rabbit into the fence, face first!! I'm starting to like this house - I don't like spending money (except on toys!!) so it's taking a while to get used it. One neat thing about this house is the position of our master bedroom - there is a window that views that back yard. The wife and I were sitting here this morning watching the dogs explore the back yard.

I just realized that I haven't taken a single picture since we purchased the place. I'll have to get my camera and snap a few shots over the course of the day.

We did spend the night in the new place last night and we are planning to do a big move today. I hope it all goes smooth. The wife and I are internet deprived. The cable guy hasn't been here to set up our roadrunner yet, so I'm "mobile broadbanding" it!

We'll keep you posted on the 654!

"the BIG secret"

This is some of the most fun I've had in a good while!
I spent 30 minutes on the phone with someone yesterday trying to drag the meaning of 654 out of me.
Just wanted to remind you all there is less than 24 hours to the big reveal.

Be sitting by the computer tomorrow around 12 noon with your finger on the F5 key!!!!!!
