Chad Lingafelt Photography - Open For Business
Over the last few years - I've been collecting equipment and practicing photography. I generally just love taking pictures and having fun.
After posting pictures that I've taken - I began getting questions from people about photography sessions for themselves. This was never really the plan - but it's just started to fall in my lap.
With that said - Chad Lingafelt Photography is ready to roll.

On The Air!
I went to bed early last night as I had to get up at 3:30am.
When I woke up - I grabbed the blackberry to see who won the election. I was not shocked, but somewhat disappointed with the outcome of the Presidential election.
However, it doesn't change my patriotism.
As I browsed the internet, I see people saying, "they are finally proud to be an american".
Strange!
I can't remember a time that I was not proud to be an american. The freedoms that we have as american citizens and the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
I guess depending on which jersey is in the white house, you american pride is affected!?
Seems to me that is the whole reason we should be proud to be an american citizens. We have the right to choose.
I guess we'll see how the next 4 years go!
Oh, by the way - my former / current part time boss / friend, Carl Ford - Finally won a seat on the Rowan County Commission! Congrats Carl!

Vote for Change?
Oh - this is my blogland - I guess I don't have to ask (at least for now).
I would like to preface this entire blog post by stating that I am not bragging - just giving my point of view!
All you hear on the news lately is how bad things are as a country since "W" took office and how much better things were when Big Willy was behind, under or over the desk in the oval office.
I disagree - since "W" took office, this is how dramatically bad my life has become.
1. We bought a house.
2. We've purchased 2 cars
3. We've purchased a larger house
4. We've sold a house.
5. We've had a baby
6. We purchased diapers, formula and baby food without the assistants of WIC!
During the last 8 years - we've take at least 1 vacation a year, we've never missed a meal or ran out of gas.
I know this is sounding real bad!
Point - did the government help or hurt any of this?
Not that I can tell - We work hard for our money and the things we purchase. I don't rely on the Government. That's not the way I was raised and not the way the country was designed!
I DON'T want change!
I DON'T want Government Healthcare!
I DON'T want a socialist society!
I DON'T want "redistribution" of wealth!
If someone else works harder than me and makes more money than I do - more power to them! That just drives me to work that much harder and do the same. I don't want a government handout or intervention. If I mess up, over extend my finances and crash and burn - with hard work and perseverance. I'll make it back out of the mess.
As a society - we screw up and expect our parents, churches, neighbors and the government to solve our problems.
Government - stop fixing everybody's problems - do your responsibility - protect our borders from foreign invaders - watch out for terrorist who hate us and what he have - and uphold our rights as American Citizens!
VOTE! It's your right!

Here goes a long week!
Tuesday and Wednesday I'll be running the morning show at Ford Broadcasting - that means my day starts around 4am!
The Blackberry Bold is released on Tuesday!
Tuesday - get out and VOTE! (I'm a traditionalist - I'll be voting when the constitution declares the national voting day!)
Friday - I'll be traveling with the Raider Radio Broadcast team.
Oh yes - I have to work during the day!

Going to See The Leaves?
Ok - I'm officially an old corny dad!
I've already started thinking that everything Katie does is cute and sweet - and now The Wife, Katie and myself are taking a "scenic drive" to see the leaves change colors?!?!?!
Hopefully I will get some good pictures and post them. I'm sure The Wife and I will be posting from our Blackberry's throughout the day - so keep hitting F5.
Here are the 2 possible routes - I will make a decision once we get to Linville.
